No unifying decision/ Sokol Sadushi's failure at the head of the Supreme

We previously referred to the percentage of files that the court headed by Sokol Sadushi discards and does not submit for review.

The figures are considerable! They require an explanation regarding the standards applied by the Court headed by Sokol Sadushi when evaluating the files that are rejected/reviewed.

The case of the review of the security measure for Mayor Erion Veliaj, for example, can serve as an indicator to assess whether this is a category of appeal in which the High Court is systematically invested, or whether Veliaj and his case benefited for reasons and criteria that were unrelated to the security measure. What are they?

Transparency of criteria is also necessary because only through them is it ensured that rights are not abused. Selection rules and criteria are also anti-corruption provisions.

How does Sokol Sadushi protect the vineyard? Or is he the first to be released from the vine and then the grapevine boss in the Supreme Court?

But this is only one side of the coin when it comes to the way in which Sokol Sadushi, the president of the Supreme Court, has exercised his leadership at the head of the body on whose behalf he ascends and speaks from every rostrum. The other side is even more serious than that!

In the spirit and strategy of the composition and powers of the Supreme Court renewed by the reform, the main activity that should have been carried out by the Supreme Court was the issuance of unifying decisions.

Unifying decisions would also help speed up the handling of that category of issues regulated by the unifying decision throughout the pyramid of the system, starting from the First Instance.

The unifying decision also means the same application of the law by every court, in every territory.

The unifying decision would automatically discard a long list of issues, which would no longer need to be resolved in the Supreme Court. Because the Supreme Court would have already issued a position on them!

Sokol Sadushi was appointed to the High Court in 2020. Immediately afterwards, he was elected Deputy President and since 2023, he has been the full President of the High Court.

No unifying decision has been issued since the day Sokol Sadush, the reformer, stepped into the office of the Supreme Court.

It is now clear that Sokol Sadushi does not have time to deal with issues that are in the best interests of the job.

Actively involved in identifying schemes for how to capture the entire system, he had no time left to do his own work.

It is clear that a Supreme Court president who spends all day wondering how to "fix" the Constitutional Court has no time to deal with the problems of the Supreme Court! But when you consider that he does this voluntarily, since no law gives him the duty to worry about the Constitutional Court, you would have to call him working overtime!

This balloon that every time he climbs the steps of the Constitutional Court, he feels like God, not only of that building, has done nothing to make a difference regarding the standard of management of the Supreme Court. But no matter how much you hate a standard, you have to admit that you caught it!

He adopted the standard of forgery in the office of the Supreme Court and in the chair of the head of the KED, which he gained due to his position in the Supreme Court.

That's why Sokol Sadushi cannot unify! Because unification requires not only the mind, but also the spirit of a statesman.

Look at how he brags every time he climbs the courthouse steps and you've seen it all!/CNA
