The independent candidate, supported by the opposition in the race for the municipality of Vlora, Dionis Sota has reacted regarding the results of the elections that were held the day before. In a post on social networks, Sota thanked the people who trusted him with their votes.

He further said that the victory of the socialist candidate, Brunilda Mersini, was not pure, saying that patrons and administration leaders in Vlora worked to secure votes for her.

Sota emphasizes that there was no electoral equality and according to him, this is not the path to Europe, but the path to SPAK's doors.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who believed in me and the vision I outlined: A European Vlora for all!

2333 sincere, free and hopeful hearts for our beloved city. I feel that perhaps it was not the right time to spread the program even more widely to all my fellow citizens. I also feel sorry for those whom I was unable to convince of the purity, sincerity and true kindness I have for Vlora.

On November 9, the myth of the castles fell, the true strength of the patronage structures was revealed with leaflets in their hands, calling every citizen of the Vlora municipality without exception with the greatest irresponsibility and incompetence, calling me too, the rival candidate. Called twice by the socialist headquarters without knowing at all who they were calling! Administration leaders who organized electoral meetings only for the SP candidate. Blinded and totally in disrespect for electoral equality, openly declaring as institutional leaders that they work and fight for the SP. This is not working for the people, this is holding the people hostage.

This is not the path to enter Europe and become European, this is the path to emigrate to Europe and it is the safest path to go towards the doors of SPAK.

I love Vlora with all my heart because when I was born I breathed this air and energy, I grew up among friends and comrades with true values ??of loyalty and correctness. I grew up in a devout family with unbreakable principles and I will continue to carry these principles, this energy and this character forward and as much as I can, pass them on to future generations!

This is just the beginning!
