"Nobody is accountable"/ Journalist: We must remember that we no longer live in a democratic country

Journalist Andi Bushati, invited to Syri TV, spoke about the governing system in the country. B

The soldier said that citizens have the idea that we live in a democratic country, but it is not true.

Every scandal that happens is normalized, according to Bushati.

The journalist further says that by not living in a democratic country, no one is held accountable.

"We still behave like atavistic beings of a democratic system. So, we still live with the reflex that, if we live in a democracy and in a democratic country, when a scandal happens, someone must be held responsible, transparent and accountable."

The problem is that we need to firmly establish in our minds that we no longer live in a democratic country. And by not living in a democratic country, no one is held accountable. For every scandal that happens, it is normalized ," Bushati said./CNA
