Annihilation of crime/ Rrumbullaku: We must strengthen cooperation

The General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, in the conference with the 43 heads of the Police of the European Capitals, stated that the fight against organized crime is fought through cooperation and the creation of joint investigation groups.

Rrumbullaku emphasized that it is very important that during this conference the issues are discussed and cooperation between Albanian and foreign authorities is facilitated as much as possible in order to fight the criminal groups, which he underlines that they do not already have citizenship.

The head of the State Police underlined that crime, citizens and institutions are maneuvering in the same space.

" It is a privilege as the director to be among the great European representatives.

Crime is today more than ever without an informed and prepared citizenry, and the only way we can overcome this challenge is cooperation.

In order to fulfill the mission, I feel it is an obligation to coordinate with human resources.

To exchange ideas and personal experiences to get to know each other and to create cooperation.

The common goal is not self-declarative, but concretized by joint operations.

The focus of this conference will be some of the security challenges, the exchange of experience.

The fight against organized crime is a priority. We all agree that for the destruction of crime, it is the creation of joint investigation groups.

The State Police has 20 active investigative teams, 14 with Italy and the rest with the EU and Eurojust.
