Journalist Artan Hoxha has discovered one of the witnesses against the leader of the PL, Ilir Meta, in relation to the ÇEZ-DIA case.

Hoxha said in the show "The Unexposed" that in addition to Romeo Karaj, Elvis Mata, who was previously close to Meta, also testified in SPAK.

He informed that Mata was protected by RENEA during the time when the investigations were intensified and he left the country due to the pressure exerted on him.

The journalist stated that the witness made several statements about SPAK.

"SPAK has intensified its actions, because there are also deadlines. Matters have come to an end. Out of 9 reports, 6 were rejected, 3 remained in play. In two is Kryemadhi and Meta for CEZ DIA. Mr. Meta started the attack with SPAK, mainly with the CEZ-DIA case and with specific persons. He identified Romeo Karaj, a lawyer who was the director at the last moment of the company DIA, Kastriot Ismailaj's company, which collected the debts of CEZ. 

Meta's attack on Romeo Kara and Elvis Mata, his former close man, one of the leaders of FRESH. This was a close person of Meta, executive director of the DIA company. He is an economist by profession. He was the head of several subsidiaries of second level banks. Elvis Mata had all the communications of DIA, the agreements. At the moment when the investigations intensified, Elvis Mata was taken under the protection of RENEA. He was put under pressure, there was an accusation against his wife and he left the country, but he gave two testimonies, one in Vienna and other statements that were made available to SPAK. He escaped from Albania. I know that he has now communicated with SPAK. He is a free man.

The third person who accused was the wife of Kastriot Ismailaj, who also gave a testimony.

During this week, SPAK has continued to carry out investigations regarding the documentation, but has not yet approached a specific institution to take any security measures. As long as the prosecutor does not enter a name, he has as much time as he wants. Until this moment, the name of Mr. Meta is not registered, but it can be extended, as in the case of Berisha", said Hoxha./ CNA
