A person who was driving the vehicle, under the influence of narcotics, was handcuffed by the police.
The arrested person is a citizen with the initials RA. He was caught while driving the vehicle in an irregular manner and at a speed exceeding the permitted norms in residential areas.
After testing with the AquilaScan device, it turned out that the citizen was driving the vehicle under the influence of narcotics.
The police also searched the vehicle and found and seized, as material evidence, a quantity of the suspected narcotic substance cocaine, and a knife cutting tool.
So far, the number of drivers who have tested positive for drugs after testing with the AquilaScan device this year has reached 29.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions./ CNA
