Colonel Dilaver Goxhaj has reacted strongly to the arrest of his son Dritan Goxhaj, a former KLA soldier, who was arrested in Tirana on account of the Kosovo authorities.

Dilaver Goxhaj said that today's session took place without the presence of the lawyer and with great urgency. He described his son's arrest as a major and unprecedented violation.

The colonel warned in an interview with Igli Çelmeta that he will send the governments of the two countries, Albania and Kosovo, to Strasbourg regarding the case of the former KLA soldier.

"In the courtroom, I found that they were the administrators of the administration of the Court of Kosovo. So a trial without the presence of a lawyer. This was a surprise for both us and the boy. What is this great urgency? It seems as if Albania looks like the protectorate of the Special Court, this makes all structures of the Albanian state non-existent. How is it possible that neither the lawyer nor the family nor anyone else is notified?

I ask the court to do it with open doors. It is a great offense to my son. I call on the government of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania to stop this case. I say this with conviction and hope that this request will be taken into account.
