The Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha, reacted to the AMP operation in cooperation with SPAK, which arrested the chief commissioner of Durrës, Gazmir Preçi.

In his response, Minister Hoxha writes that the arrest of the chief commissioner is a clear message to every employee who is removed as a boss at any level, that in case they try to violate the trust of the citizens in the Police.

Hoxha emphasizes that such exponents will receive the harshest punishment of the law

"The operation of the AMP, in cooperation with SPAK, is a clear message to those police officers of any level, who will attempt to violate citizens' trust in the Police, by removing themselves as patrons of citizens and businesses, and not as servants of the law, that they will receive the severest legal punishment.

I support and encourage AMP and other law enforcement agencies, as well as encourage and guarantee citizens and businesses to report such cases, because only together we can achieve the main objective, to have a Police as professional as possible and with high moral integrity and legal!", writes Minister Hoxha./ CNA
