The Court of First Instance has left in prison the police officer who is accused of taking 500,000 ALL from a person accused of threats.

The court has set the security measure "arrest in prison", with a deadline of 15 days for Deputy Commissioner KP, with the task of Specialist for the Investigation of Crimes in the Police Station No. 4 Tirana.

The arrest of the 35-year-old was carried out on June 23 by AMP.

From the conducted investigation, evidence and facts were administered that this police officer, using the organic function and attributes of the judicial police, requested and received the monetary amount of 50,000 lek, promising to avoid criminal liability to a citizen, who a few days ago was reported by another citizen for threats.

At the end of the actions, the sum of 50 thousand ALL, a Hyundai vehicle, a mobile device and other documents related to the event were seized as material evidence./ CNA
