Adnan Xholi hosts high-level German delegation at SPAK/ Cooperation, focus of

The Head of the Section against Organized Crime at SPAK, Prosecutor Adnan Xholi, today hosted a high-level delegation from Germany, headed by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection, Annette Kramme.

The meeting was also attended by the German Ambassador, Karl Bergner, as well as special prosecutors Alfred Shehu, Bledar Maksuti, Ened Nakuçi and Ols Dado. Secretary Kramme praised the excellent work of SPAK and the high trust that the institution enjoys among the public.

The focus of the discussions at the meeting was the successful cooperation over the years through joint investigative teams and parallel investigations in the fight against organized crime, money laundering and computer fraud. The possibility of strengthening and expanding this cooperation in the future was also discussed.

The Head of the Organized Crime Section at the Special Prosecution Office, Mr. Adnan Xholi, welcomed a high-level delegation from Germany, headed by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection, also the President of the Foundation for Legal Cooperation (IRZ), Ms. Annette Kramme.

Also present at the meeting was the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Albania, Mr. Karl Bergner, as well as the special prosecutors Mr. Alfred Shehu, Mr. Bledar Maksuti, Mr. Ened Nakuçi and Mr. Ols Dado.

Ms. Annette Kramme praised the excellent work of SPAK and the high trust that this institution enjoys among the public, emphasizing the importance of its role in strengthening the rule of law in Albania.

During the meeting, the successful cooperation over the years between Albanian and German law enforcement agencies was discussed, through joint investigative teams and parallel investigations in the fight against organized crime, money laundering and computer fraud, as well as the possibilities for strengthening and expanding this cooperation in the future.

The German delegation, led by Ms. Kramme, guaranteed continued support for the work and mission of SPAK, underlining the joint commitment to increasing effectiveness in the fight against organized crime and corruption. / CNA
