Is prosecutor Asllan Bajramaj advocating for the release of fine-collector Elio

Elio Lazaj, a fine-scoring journalist with a criminal approach, sentenced 5 years ago for drugs and illegal possession of weapons on probation without serving a single day in prison, was handcuffed by the police after several weeks of investigation.

A slanderer, slanderer, and insulter, repeatedly convicted by the court, was arrested and fined by a state official.

For two years, Lazaj had been writing slander, swearing, and insulting a person simply because he knew and was friends with DP MP Belind Këlliçi.

He also held several meetings. Once he asked for 40,000 euros, then 20,000 euros, finally he asked for 10,000 euros, and under surveillance cameras and with a court order, Elio Lazaj was caught red-handed taking the money to delete the writings.

A good job done by the investigators, but also by the prosecutor, but looking at the minutes of the court session for the security measure, something is clearly missing, from the investigation to the security measure session.

Judge Artan Çupi left the arrest in prison indefinitely, but what stood out was the stance of prosecutor Asllan Bajramaj, who had previously carried out the actions and nothing had been uncovered until Lazaj's arrest, then something changed. One during the investigations and another during the security measure session.

What changed the prosecutor?

Maybe an order from Olsian Çela? An order from the head of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, Arens Çela?

Perhaps connections with businessmen and other factional friendships that intervene to free Lazaj?

Prosecutor Asllan Bajramaj, who did such an excellent job and caught a fined person (and others should continue to do so, his colleagues should have done this too) began to change.

In the minutes of the hearing, the prosecutor says that the fine-taker Lazaj wanted to normalize the relationship with the plaintiff Klaus Shaqiri, on whom he imposed a fine through third parties.

But who are the third parties? With what authorization? Why do they go and intimidate witnesses or informants? Is this an interference with justice?

The accuser himself has not taken any public stance regarding the normalization of relations, while the prosecutor tells us so in the hearing.

Who are the people involved in this normalization? Where is the statement made by the accuser?

The prosecutor has either proven to be ignorant, or incompetent, or something happened to him along the way.

Also during the hearing, prosecutor Asllan Bajramaj did not emphasize the fact that Elio Lazaj is a recidivist. He is a repeater of endless criminal offenses, even though he has received various sentences from the courts.

Sentenced to probation for illegal possession of weapons and drugs by a prosecutor removed from the vetting process and by a judge removed from the vetting process, both people caught in the act, probably by the same businessman and the same people who are intervening today to get the fined person out of prison.

But this time, other individuals have also been added who illegally intervene, intimidating the complainant and demanding that the matter be resolved quickly.

Perhaps in the hope that with orders given from above, various interventions, media attacks, threats and blackmail, the accuser will withdraw so that the fined offender, from whom Prosecutor Bajramaj hid the suspended sentence during the court session, can be released.

What prosecutor wouldn't say that the defendant he had had a previous suspended sentence for drugs and weapons possession?

What prosecutor wouldn't say that he has been convicted of several court decisions for defamation and insult and is now caught imposing fines on anonymous portals funded by money with links to crime and corruption?

Some individuals are seeking to save Lazaj's skin and destroy his phones because they contain treasures of corruption, fines, blackmail, and threats. And the prosecutor did not say this in the hearing.

What changed the prosecutor who, with passion and honesty for a month or more, professionally uncovered an extortion scheme and then went to court and got away with it?! Like this to turn us off?

Forgetting suspended sentences and repeated crimes and talking about reconciliation when subordinates caught the fine-collector Elio Lazaj red-handed?!

A hearing is expected to take place soon at the Court of Appeal. The same form, style, pressure, blackmail, and phone calls, which are recorded by third parties addressed to Klaus Shaqiri or others to request normalization of relations, will be followed.

But the truth cannot be hidden, Elio Lazaj is a repeat offender convicted by the court, illegal interferences are criminal offenses that seek to influence a judicial process for the sentencing of a convicted offender caught in the act such as Elio Lazaj./ CNA
