The police prosecuted an 82-year-old woman from Narta, whose reconstruction of the chicken coop was considered an illegal construction.

Currently, the elderly woman is facing justice and if she loses the court case, she risks being sentenced to prison.

The lawyer of the 82-year-old woman, Geron Gunbardhi, told Euronews Albania that his client was accompanied in a violent manner.

Gunbardhi said that the police, accompanied by the mayor of Vlora, Dritan Leli, arrived to accompany her to the apartment of the elderly woman, who dragged her to the region.

"The whole state, the mayor and the police landed there and violently escorted the old woman, telling her that she was building without a permit. The old woman was dragged away in a police van, the old woman lives alone. Then they asked him at the prosecutor's office. When I took her to the prosecutor's office, the old woman was shaking all over and I thought that this case would be closed, but the prosecuting authority took her to the construction of a warehouse without a permit in the village of Nartë", emphasized the lawyer. / BA - CNA.al
