Cyberattacks/ Peleshi reveals the big 24mln dollar security project

After the meeting of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Defence, Niko Peleshi, was asked about the measures taken by the government after the cyber attacks of Iran and how endangered the data of Albanians are currently. The minister replied that Albania is safe as long as we are part of NATO. 

"For the first time I am sharing with the public the fact that our military cyber systems have not been affected either the first time or now. They are more than protected because they are dedicated and disconnected from other systems. As for the plans and among the projects we are working on to raise cyber security to a higher level, we are implementing a very large project worth 24 million dollars supported by partners that aims to establish a cyber security center and train staff.

We are not in any possible scenario of infringement of our sovereignty. we are members of NATO, we are inviolable. No NATO territory is vulnerable."/ CNA.al
