Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku has launched the awareness campaign in the capital's schools for saving electricity.

Balluku in the communication with the students at Lasgush Poradeci school, Belinda explained that the crisis has come for two reasons, that of the war between Russia and Ukraine and climate change.

Here he emphasized that this has been a dry year even in countries like England. Among other things, Balluku added that today the energy crisis is one of the problems that has affected not only the region but also the European countries that have drawn up plans of measures to save electricity.

The Deputy Prime Minister advised the students to be careful to use energy properly, especially in these moments when the crisis has affected the whole world.

" The crisis comes for two reasons, the war between Ukraine and Russia, and the second one has to do with climate change, which is a very sensitive issue.

As you may have read, England has declared a drought emergency this year.

It creates problems with hydropower plants. If we have water, we produce electricity in significant amounts over 70%, while in dry years we produce less.

Today, the world is facing a very big problem, immediately after the pandemic, today we are facing a new crisis, the energy crisis" , said Balluku./ CNA.al
