Professor Përparim Kabo has raised concerns about the silent passing of the 80th anniversary of the poet Ali Podrimja.

Through a post on social networks, Kabo writes that Podrimja is one of the peaks of Albanian poetry, and the Albanian language is the language of a nation. According to Kabo, Ali Podrimja belongs to the Albanian nation wherever it is in its roots and history.

Among other things, Professor Kabo emphasizes that the silence towards him does honor to those who love the nation without free poets and paid gamblers.

"Should the 80th anniversary of the national poet Ali Podrimja be passed in silence?! Someone may say with surprise, but why, as a national? Yes. but for me, Ali Podrimja is one of the peaks of Albanian poetry, and the Albanian language is the language of a nation, his poetry surpasses many poems that were inflated more by propaganda, by power, by politics and the media. Podrimje's poetics is a beautiful sky of dedication, a free verse, it is the spark that sparks... Ali Podrimje belongs to the Albanian nation wherever it is in its roots and history, in the winds of fate and in the breezes of love, in biblical messages and in human bequests. His poetry is like an earthen pot cooked with Dardanian blood and mud where a gentle flame of inspiration burns, sometimes mournful and gentle, sometimes shrill and explosive. Don't divide poetry by regions and counties, with pieces of states where there is only one people and one language, don't call the poem a patriarch poet or a great poet, the poem either is or it is not. Ali Podrimja is today 80 years old, he walks along the epic Drin like a beautiful shadow and releases Unsung Verses into the waters, as Migjeni Kengët e Unduara used to be.... Ali Podrimja was the Albanian nation with pride and suffering. The nation owes its blood and poetic soul.... He was born on August 28, 1942 in Gjakova, where the blood flows....
