A 32-year-old Albanian was the target of an assassination attempt that took place on Sunday evening in Athens.

A person opened fire on the Albanian and on a 20-year-old Greek woman.

The incident took place in the Ampelokipi neighborhood outside the Panormou school in Athens.

When the police received the notification of a possible assassination attempt in the Ampelokipi neighborhood, when they went to the scene, they found no one.

But it wasn't long before it was discovered that the two injured were receiving medical help in a hospital.

In her testimony to the police, the 20-year-old woman said that she received a bullet in her thigh while walking at the intersection of Panormos and Larisa streets, while she herself does not know the 32-year-old Albanian.

Prothothema writes that the investigations showed that the 32-year-old Albanian is known to the authorities as he was arrested in the past for a drug case and the Police are considering the possibility that the 32-year-old is the target of the gunman.
