The fire at the Elbasan incinerator is extinguished/Minister Peleshi gives

The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, has announced that the seven fires that were registered the day before have finally been extinguished.

He also clarifies that the fire has been extinguished at the urban waste collection point in Elbasan.

Peleshi says that the situation is being monitored by the firefighting forces of the municipality of Elbasan and that all civil defense structures at the local and central level remain on full alert.

" The seven fires that engulfed different areas of the country yesterday have been extinguished and currently we do not have any active fires in the country, despite the high temperatures.

In the village of Krastë, in the municipality of Kruja, all the fires that were active have been extinguished.

Intensive work and maximum commitment made it possible to finally extinguish the flames in the urban waste dump in Elbasan.

The situation is being monitored by the fire brigade of the municipality of this city.

All civil defense structures at the local and central level remain on full alert", Minister Peleshi informs.

We recall that the Elbasan incinerator was engulfed in flames on Saturday afternoon.
