The heads of criminal organisations on the run/ Who deconspirated the operation?

Yesterday, in the early hours of the morning, the media attention focused on the sensational operation of SPAK against criminal gangs, which seemed to come after Nuredin Dumani had admitted cooperation with justice.

There was talk in the media of a mega-operation, with dozens arrested and others declared wanted. Later, the head of SPAK, Arben Kraja, and the General Director of the State Police, Gledis Nano, appeared at the press conference to give the details of this mega-operation.

But what happens? Beyond the alleged success, and in fact the judiciary should be congratulated on this operation, there is a detail. The ?heads? of the criminal world have not yet been caught. Ervis Martinaj and Suel Çela have not been arrested. They fled in the ?unknown direction?. We recall here that Ervis Martinaj is a much talked about person for his role in the underworld, one of the people involved in the massacre that took place in the former Bloc area in Tirana a few years ago, where one person lost his life and several others were injured.

The media reported that the operation to capture Ervis Martinaj was carried out in Tirana, in the area of the Dry Lake and at the Dinamo Stadium, but the police couldn?t arrest him. During the searches in his hotel, they also found masks and other items, suspected of being used in various criminal events.

But Martinaj has not been arrested, nor has Suel Çela, which leads to suspicions of a possible deconspiration of the operation. But who deconspirated the operation? The arrest of Nuredin Duman seems to have been the first warning.

All the media published the news that Dumani received the status of ?repentant?? so that he had accepted to cooperate with justice. This was a clear message to the leaders of criminal organizations and a warning about their possible arrest.

Further, SPAK issued another declaration, denying that Dumani had become a collaborator of justice, but the news had already been published. And beyond the fact that yesterday?s operation is worth saluting, it was not as ?successful? as claimed, because the leaders of criminal groups have not been arrested yet./CNA.al
