Exclusive photo - Lleshaj accepts the scandal/Changes the license plates of the car

For a month, CNA.al has denounced a scandal, in which was involved the Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj. It is about the purchase of a luxury vehicle type BMW, which Lleshaj says has cost about 50.000 euros.

CNA.al reported that the car in question was purchased by the State Police, for the Contact Officer at the Albanian Embassy in Germany, but then with extra-legal procedures, the vehicle was brought in Albania with German license plates, and as seen in the photo below, parked near the General Directorate of Police.

Afterwards, the Albanian license plates AA 976 UT were placed on the vehicle in question, and it was sent to the Ministry of Interior and used by Minister Sander Lleshaj. CNA.al went further in the investigation and the scandal continued to deepen.

On September 9, 2020, CNA.al referring to official sources at state institutions, reported that the vehicle in question circulates with fake license plates.

After a public stand, where Sander Lleshaj stated that the vehicle with license plates AA 976 UT is owned by the Ministry of Interior, CNA.al on September 15, 2020, addressed officially a letter the Ministry of Interior, where we asked to make available to all procedure and documents of vehicle purchase.In the response received on September 25 at the CNA.al editorial office, which bears the seal and signature of the Cabinet Director at the Ministry of Interior, it is acknowledged that the vehicle moved with fake license plates.

The letter states that the vehicle temporarily held the above-mentioned license plates. ?License plate AA 976 UT is in use of vehicles owned by the Ministry and its subordinate structures, and is equipped with insurance in accordance with applicable law. If you refer to the vehicle type ?BMW?, owned by the Ministry of Interior, which has temporarily held the above-mentioned license plate, we inform you that it is equipped with compulsory insurance? ? said in the response of the Ministry of Interior.

But what happens

CNA.al has provided some photos of the vehicle in question, where it seems that the license plates have been changed. Thus, Lleshaj himself admits that he moved with false license plates, but now the license plates of the vehicle have been changed.
Sander Lleshaj used a vehicle which was purchased by the State Police for the Contact Officer at the Albanian Embassy in Germany, and circulated with false license plates.

Instead of responding to the scandal in which he was involved, Lleshaj threw a mountain of accusations and attacks on the media.
