Compared to a few years ago, when topless sunbathing was seen sporadically, today it has become a common practice even on the beaches of Italy. Widespread before, in countries like Spain and Portugal, it seems to be a practical choice and freedom that many women have made their own.

Arsyeja e dytë jepet nga vetë struktura e lëkurës së gjirit, e cila është më e hollë në zonën e areolës dhe thithkës, dhe për këtë arsye mund të pësojë më lehtë dëmtime të shkaktuara nga dielli, si ato akute, si djegiet, ashtu edhe kronike, si p.sh. telangjiektazi dhe alteracione vaskulare”, shpjegon Dr. Claudia Menicanti.

And referring to the possibility that exposure to UV rays can damage the breast, she adds: "The sun does not have a dangerous effect on the mammary gland itself. The problem lies in the damage that can result in the skin that supports the breast, which can present in the future changes in the support of the mammary gland and in which spots can appear, which have more of an aesthetic consequence than a consequence pathological", concludes Dr. Menicanti./ CNA.al
