Musk reveals details about his $45,000 house in Texas

Superbillionaire Elon Musk has revealed that he lives in a "very small" 3-bedroom home worth $45,000 in Boca Chica, South Texas.

Last November, Musk tweeted that he lived in a house in South Texas and that small houses are more comfortable and make you feel at home.  

In a Friday episode of The Full Send podcast, Musk offered more details. He said that although he does not have a "main residence", he stays in the 800-900 square meter house.

Musk said it was half a mile from SpaceX's South Texas rocket factory, making it within walking distance.

Musk said on the podcast that his home "actually costs less than a Boxabl," referring to tiny prefabricated homes made by a company in Las Vegas.

In his tweet, Musk wrote that he had been living in "a $50,000 house in South Texas for the past 2 years," but that it wasn't a Boxabl.

During Friday's podcast appearance, Musk also talked about his day-to-day life. He said that he usually goes to sleep around 3 am and wakes up after about six hours at 9 am or 9:30 am./ CNA.al
