Risk from possible fires / BMW withdraws the i4 and iX electric cars from the

BMW has pulled all 2022 i4 and iX electric cars from the market, albeit in small numbers.

The reason for their recall is the danger of the batteries of these vehicles exploding in fire.

The recall decision covers only 83 vehicles that were sold in the US. BMW is advising owners of electric cars not to drive them, park them outside or away from vehicles and other structures that could catch fire.
