Mass layoffs / Twitter remains with 550 engineers

Twitter's full-time workforce has dwindled to about 1,300 active employees, including fewer than 550 full-time engineers by title.

This is according to data from CNBC.

The company's trust and security team, which makes policy recommendations, design and product changes aimed at keeping all Twitter users safe, is down to fewer than 20 full-time employees.
