Crisis in "Apple"/ Salary cuts for employees are warned

Apple CEO Tim Cook has warned that there will be pay cuts of more than 40% this year.

Salary cuts have come as a result of criticism from shareholders.

The compensation committee awarded Apple a total of $49m (£45.1m) for 2023.

Last year, the iPhone maker's shares fell sharply due to the global crisis that gripped the world.

Cook, on the other hand, will continue to have an unchanged salary of $3 million, as well as a bonus of up to $6 million.

In 2022, the company sold $75 million in stock, half of which was based on Apple's good performance in the stock market.

For this year, his stock price target has been lowered to $40 million, with three quarters of it dependent on stock performance./ CNA.al
