Tech giant Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak warned that artificial intelligence could make fraud and disinformation harder to spot.

Speaking in an interview with the BBC, he said he fears the technology will be exploited by "bad actors".

"Artificial intelligence is so intelligent and open to bad actors — to those who want to trick you into who they are," Wozniak said.

He said he does not believe AI will replace humans because it lacks emotion, but warned it will make "bad actors" even more convincing because, he said, programs like ChatGPT can create texts that "sound so intelligent".

Wozniak added that AI content should be clearly labeled.

According to him, the responsibility for anything created by artificial intelligence and then posted to the public should remain with those who publish it.

Wozniak together with Steve Jobs founded the Apple company and invented the first Apple computer.

Last week, the White House convened the heads of several technology companies to advise them on how to protect the public from the dangers of artificial intelligence.

Recently launched AI products such as ChatGPT and Bard have captured the imagination of the public.

They offer ordinary users the opportunity to interact with what is known as “generative artificial intelligence,” which can digest information from multiple sources within seconds, write believable-sounding presentations, and even poetry. as if they were written by people./ Rel
