Video- Greece brings the first news anchor created by Artificial Intelligence

Greek television is following the AI ??revolution as it unveiled Greece's first AI-powered news anchor. 

This trend has happened in many other countries abroad. 

Hermes, the AI-powered announcer introduces the public to ERT news, revealing when the May 21 national election debate will take place. 

"Ladies and gentlemen, good evening. Thank you for your presence in Studio 4 of ERT. It is the studio which in a few days will host the debate of political leaders moderated by George Kouvaras".

He also expressed some humor in his robotic voice saying, "Normally he should be doing this presentation, but because of the workload they brought me in. The truth is, all I asked was to do a pilot show. But it seems that I I gave a new idea. They always want to follow the latest technology."

Of course, wanting to soften his arrival somewhat, Hermes also stated that "Without wanting to question the abilities of the executives, let me present some facts about the country's only news channel."

He closed his presentation with the following sentence:  "Thank you for your attention and I ask for your understanding for any mistakes." 

The presentation of Hermes is a historic moment in Greek TV channels as it is the first recording of a presenter created by Artificial Intelligence.
