Zendeli signs with Bedriver for Porsche Carrera Cup Italia campaign

After an impressive solo performance for the BeDriver team in Round 2 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia in Vallelunga, Lirim Zendeli has now signed a two-year contract with the Milan-based team to race a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup car in the remaining four rounds of this year's series, as well as in the next two seasons.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Zendel, who was born in Germany but is the only Albanian driver currently competing in top-level motorsport. The 25-year-old already has considerable racing experience, from winning the ADAC Formula 4 title in 2018 to victories and pole positions in FIA Formula 3 and Formula 2 races, before finding a new path in 2024 when he dedicated himself to closed-wheel GT racing for the first time. His first season in the Porsche Supercup and Carrera Cup Italia saw him immediately become one of the best drivers, scoring points in almost every round, finishing the season in third place overall and taking the Best Rookie award in the Italian series.

Now, following his return to the 'SuperSub' at Vallelunga after several months away from the track, Zendeli contracted by Monaco Increase Management is ready to make a full-scale assault on the prestigious Italian domestic single-make title.

It finally gives me some validation for all the work I have done - in my life and in the world of motorsport - in my career, and it is also very good for me to have found a team that values ??what I do on the track and that trusts me a lot. Today I am testing with them in Mugello, then I fly to Portugal for an endurance race Carrera Cup Brazil in Portimao. Now it is really up to me because I can finally continue racing for a long time and focus on my career for the long term, so with BeDriver I want to "I show you exactly what all the other teams are missing!" - declared Zendeli.
