Club World Cup in winter? Here are the four countries that want to organize it

Qatar has officially expressed interest in hosting the Club World Cup in 2029. According to reports from The Guardian, Qatari representatives held talks with FIFA officials during the tournament in the US.

If their bid is accepted, the tournament would be held in winter to avoid the extreme temperatures of summer. Qatar argues that the short distances between stadiums will reduce pollution and travel fatigue.

The infrastructure is ready for the 2022 World Cup, with nine modern stadiums available. High temperatures are a common concern for several candidates, including the United States.

In addition to Qatar, Spain, Morocco and Brazil have also expressed interest in hosting the tournament. FIFA's final decision is expected in the coming months.
