Formula 1/ McLaren dominance, Norris leaves everyone behind

The Austrian Grand Prix, held at the Spielberg track, brought another triumph for Lando Norris, who secured his third victory of the season and the seventh of his career.

Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri tried to take risks in the early stages of the race, trying to overturn the lead several times. However, as the laps passed, he was forced to concede the Briton's lead and settled into second place.

The podium was completed by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. The Frenchman managed to maintain third position, bringing valuable points for the team, which after this result returns to second place in the overall constructors' standings.

Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton finished fourth, putting in a solid performance to restore enthusiasm among British fans ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. George Russell was fifth, but failed to repeat his success at the same track last year. Mercedes, however, were left with just one car in the final, after Antonelli retired on the first lap after an incident at Turn 3.

Antonelli, in an attempt to pass Lauson and Bortoleto, braked incorrectly and collided with Verstappen. The collision caused a brief interruption of the race with the entry of the safety car on the track. Both drivers, Verstappen and Antonelli, were forced to immediately retire from the race.

On the other hand, a day to forget for Williams. Albon retired after just 17 laps for technical reasons, while Sainz failed to take part in the race at all.
