England U-21 declared European champions, Germany stops at the crossbar

England U-21 have been crowned European champions for the second consecutive season, after defeating Germany 3-2 in a dramatic final that was decided after extra time.

Coach Lee Carsley's team showed superiority from the start, taking the lead through Harvey Elliott and then doubling through Hutchinson.

Germany responded at the end of the first half with a goal from Weiper and equalized in the 61st minute through Nebel. In the final minutes of regular time, Rohl hit the crossbar for Germany.

In extra time, Jonathan Rowe scored for England, giving his team the victory. The Germans had another chance to equalize, but it was stopped again by the crossbar in the 122nd minute.

England retained their previously won title and confirmed themselves as the dominant force in this age group. The final was played at a high technical level and with great intensity.
