UEFA trusts Albanians to referee in Europa League

The eighth and final round of the UEFA Europa League will be played on Thursday, determining the teams that will advance to the knockout stage.

In the Sturm Graz - Brann match, which will take place at the "Stadion Graz Liebenau" at 21:00, Albanian referee Juxhin Xhaja, who has been selected as the main referee by UEFA, will officiate.

Xhaja's assistants will be Arber Zalla and Rejdi Avdo, while the fourth official is Olsion Yzeiraj. The VAR system will be led by Swiss Lukas Fähndrich, while Kreshnik Barjamaj will play the role of AVAR.

This appointment represents another important recognition for Albanian refereeing in the international arena, confirming the professionalism, preparation and trust that UEFA continues to place in referees from Albania.
