From Vision to Victory, the AFF presents the plan that will take Albanian

The Football Association presented on Monday evening its four-year football development strategy, "Vision to Victory", an ambitious plan drafted in collaboration with UEFA's top experts, which lays the foundations for sustainable growth, broad inclusion and elite performance at every level of the game.

At the event held at the "House of Football", representatives of clubs, academies, regional associations, heads of state institutions, sponsors, partner organizations, members of the football community, famous former football players, and media representatives were introduced to the vision that aims to take Albanian football to a new stage of development, by building a modern, inclusive and competitive ecosystem.

This strategy is based on seven key pillars, well thought out to touch every dimension of football:

- Entering the field

- Elite talent for national teams and clubs

- Game construction

- Education beyond the field

- Promoting passion and purpose

- Investment promotion

- An excellent organization

One of the main goals of the Albanian Football Federation in its football development plan for the next four years is to increase participation in football, ensuring access for all, regardless of age, gender or ability. Projects such as “Uniforma Ime” or “Topi Yt” have proven that investing in the grassroots produces concrete results, marking a significant increase in the number of participants over the last four years. This growth will come from the continuation of these projects, but also through the expansion of programs in schools and communities, strengthening the role of regional associations, direct support for clubs for young ages and the creation of as many organized activities for children and young people as possible.

Infrastructure also remains a special focus, with the aim of increasing the number of football fields, to improve the population-field ratio, especially in urban areas and in Tirana where demand is highest.

“Vision to Victory” envisages the construction of a unified national system for the identification and development of talents, where elite academies and professional clubs work on common methodologies. The aim is to have more Albanian players active in elite European championships and to ensure that national youth teams are regular participants in the final stages of UEFA. Likewise, the aim for the A National Team remains the same and clear: to always be in the race for qualification in every European and World Cup cycle.

The "Education Beyond the Field" pillar also has a special weight, aiming to increase the number and quality of licensed coaches, develop online courses, support female coaches, and strengthen the corps of young referees. Education will also be extended to club administrators, to guarantee a more professional and sustainable game experience.

Through the pillar “Promoting Passion and Purpose”, the Albanian Football Association will intensify communication with the football community, through various channels on social networks and traditional media and will adapt it according to the different groups that follow football. This pillar serves not only to promote the beautiful game of football, but to use this game for social impact, enhancing not only the game but also society and the quality of life.

In the medium term, the strategy aims to strengthen partnerships, increase public and private investments, as well as advance governance and digitalization, making administrative and sports processes fully digitalized and data-driven.

"Vision to Victory" is not just a strategy. It is the concrete commitment of the Albanian Football Association to move Albanian football forward, from grassroots to elite and from vision to victory.
