European U-17/ The draw is made, Albania in the group with the Netherlands and Croatia

The draw for the first qualifying round for the U-17 European Championship "Albania 2025" was made today at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

This major event will be organized by the AFL in cooperation with UEFA in our country. 54 teams participated in the draw together with Albania, which is the host country of the finals. The teams were divided into 14 groups, 12 groups of four teams and 2 groups of three teams. Albania U-17 was placed in Group 3 along with the Netherlands, Croatia and the Faroe Islands.

All matches of the first round of qualifiers will be played in the period July - November this year, while in the second round 28 teams will qualify, i.e. the first and second place of each group. Even in the second round, lots will be drawn by UEFA, where the teams will be divided into seven groups of four teams each.

After the completion of the qualifying matches of the second round, the first seven places of each group will be joined by Albania, which is automatically qualified as the host country./ AFF
