VIDEO/ Violence is back in Greece, see what happened in PAOK-AEK

The clashes between PAOK and AEK have always created problems in Greece. There was no way it could happen otherwise even at the end of the championship.

The two teams fight for the championship title and the game of week 34 was very tense. PAOK won with the result 3-2, in a match where the result was secondary, due to the events that happened at the end.

The coach of AEK Athens, Matias Almeida, was involved in a fierce fight at the end of the match.

The technician of the capitals was unrestrained, clashing with everyone who came in front of him. The 50-year-old, intoxicated, could not be stopped even by his players, and then collided with one of the officials of the match.

Almeida violently attacked and grabbed one of the officials of the Sports Violence Prevention Directorate by the neck. In the end, the intervention of the police was needed to calm the situation. After the match, the AEK coach came out and apologized for his unsportsmanlike gestures, but this will not save him from a disciplinary punishment.

As for the challenge, PAOK triumphed with the result 3-2, with a reversal that came only in the last minutes of the meeting.

The friends were leading 2-1 until the 80th minute, when the team from Thessaloniki equalized the numbers. In the 90th minute, it was Sastre who scored the conversion goal to give Paok a 3-2 win.

This result keeps everything open for the championship title, where four teams are fighting. AEK holds the first place in the ranking with 75 accumulated points, while PAOK follows with 71 points, but with one more match to play.

In the same quota of points is Panathinaikos, which holds fourth place, with one point more than Olympiakos in fifth place.

The end of the championship in Greece is expected to be hot and hard-fought, just like it happened a year ago.
