Inter's new coach, contract details and game plan

Cristian Chivu is the new coach of Inter, with a two-year contract until 2027 and a salary of 2.5 million euros per season.

After two meetings with the neroli management, the agreement was finalized and is expected to be made official after the formal issues with Parma are resolved. Chivu has experience at the club as a player and as a youth coach, and is expected to maintain the tactical continuity of the style built by Simone Inzaghi. He will collaborate with Mario Cecchi and Angelo Palombo on the technical staff.

Tactically, he has used both 4-3-3 and 3-5-2, based on building the game from the defensive zone and attacking from the wings.

The strategy is to maintain the existing principles and renew the team with younger players. Sucic and Luis Henrique have already been approached, while no major changes are expected to the current base.
