The next "divorce" is being prepared, the starter requests to leave Milan

Mike Maignan's future at Milan looks increasingly uncertain. The French goalkeeper has asked to leave the club, expressing an interest in joining Chelsea.

The English club have put him at the top of their list for the goalkeeper, but negotiations are difficult due to differences in the player's valuation.

Milan are asking for 30 million euros, while Chelsea are offering between 15 and 20 million. Maignan's contract expires in 2026, but he has no intention of renewing it.

At the beginning of the year he was close to renewing for another three years, but poor form has led Milan to withdraw. This situation has strained relations between the parties. After Reijnders, Maignan could be in the queue for summer departures.
