Inter want Fabregas on the bench, but there are two other alternatives

Inter have officially parted ways with coach Simone Inzaghi and are looking for a new coach.

The club is working to appoint Cesc Fabregas as the new coach and wants to finalise the deal within the week. Initial contact has been made, but before official negotiations can begin, Fabregas must terminate his contract with Como and sell his shares there.

He must also complete the coaching course at Coverciano to lead the team in the Club World Cup. The objective is for Fabregas to be on the bench for the match against Monterrey on June 18 in Los Angeles.

Patrick Vieira and Cristian Chivu are also being considered as alternatives. Meanwhile, Inter's management is continuing discussions, in a process that remains technically complicated.
