Tare closes the most expensive transfer in Milan's history

The adventure of Tijjani Reijnders is over. The Dutch midfielder will transfer to Manchester City, with the clubs having closed the deal. 

The Italian club will receive 70 million euros, including bonuses. Reijnders was named the best midfielder of the season in Italy, being one of the few positive points for Milan in a disappointing season.

He scored 15 goals and provided 5 assists in all competitions. We recall that Milan had approached him two years ago from AZ Alkmaar and from the beginning, he became an undisputed starter.

This transfer is the most expensive in Milan's history, surpassing that of Ricardo Kaka in 2009. This move comes just days after Igli Tare was appointed sporting director at Milan.
