Gjimshiti thinks about the economic side, here's where he is expected to be transferred

Berat Gjimshiti could leave Atalanta after many seasons in the Italian football elite. The Albanian defender has received a concrete offer from the Al Rayyan club in Qatar, which includes a salary much higher than what he currently receives and a sum of 10-15 million euros for Atalanta.

A year ago he refused, but this time the answer may be positive. Gjimshiti is 32 years old and is at a stage where he is assessing economic stability for the final phase of his career.

With the departure of coach Gasperini, who will move to Roma, his position in the team is no longer secure. He has been an undisputed starter, with 287 matches for Atalanta and 250 in total in Serie A.

The current contract guarantees him 800,000 euros per season, while in Qatar the salary could double. The final decision is expected in the coming days.
