Israel's coach compares Kosovo's war against Serbia with that against Hamas: You were like us

Kosovo will face Israel this evening as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. The match is outside UEFA's official dates, because it did not take place in October due to the war in Israel. The coach of the Israeli National Team, Alon Hazan, said at the press conference that they will try to give their country a little smile this evening.

He also declares that Kosovo has been in the same situation as Israel in the past, comparing the war with Hamas to that of the KLA with Serbia.

"Today we play as a country, not as a national football team. In no way do we feel burdened, we feel a great honor to represent the country and try to smile at it. I am very proud to be in Kosovo. I know you have also had the same situation as us in the past. I hope that in the future your people and our people will live in a much better and more peaceful world", said Alon Hazan.
