The captain of Egnatia loses his life/ The police comes out with the official

The police have released the official announcement on the tragic case, where the captain of Engatia, Raphael Dëamena, passed away after losing consciousness on the field during the match.

" In the "Arena Egnatia" stadium, where the football match of the "Abisnet Superiore" league was taking place, between the Egnatia and Partizani teams, in the 23rd-24th minute, the footballer of the Egnatia team, a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, 28 years old, the captain of this team , felt bad and fell to the ground, unconscious.  

Immediately, team doctors and an ambulance entered the field, and the footballer was transported to the Kavaja hospital, but the doctors confirmed that the 28-year-old had lost his life.

A special investigative group has been set up and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the work is continuing to clarify the cause of the loss of the player's life during the match", says the police.

Raphael Dwamena could not cope with the heart attack during the Egantia-Partizanit match. The Ghanaian striker collapsed on the pitch in the 25th minute.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, the scorer of the Rrogozhin team did not manage to survive and passed away at the age of 28./ CNA
