Another blow for Tirana, Teuta takes second consecutive victory

Teuta won 1-0 against Tirana in the 25th week of the Superiore, achieving its second consecutive success in the championship.

The match, held at the “Selman Stërmasi” stadium, had two different scenes between the two halves. In the first half, Tirana created more chances, with the clearest chance for Tabekou, but without managing to score.

In the second half, Teuta reacted, coming close to scoring with Maçolli hitting the crossbar and Arif making a mistake in front of the goalkeeper.

The decisive moment came in the 83rd minute, when, after a VAR review, a penalty was awarded for handball. Maçolli was accurate from the spot and scored the only goal of the match.

With this victory, Teuta climbs to sixth place with 33 points, while Tirana remains in penultimate place with 21 points, jeopardizing survival.
