"Poker" from Japan, another national team eliminated from the World Cup

The Japanese national team recorded a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Tunisia in the Group F match of the World Cup, held at the "Estadio Monterrey".

This result brings about Tunisia's early elimination from the tournament, becoming the third team to bid farewell to the World Cup.

The Asians started the match at a high pace and opened the scoring in the 4th minute through Daichi Kamada.

Japan's dominance was confirmed in the 31st minute, when Ayase Ueda doubled the lead with a precise shot.

In the second half, despite isolated attempts by Hannibal Mejbri for Tunisia, Japan controlled everything. Junya Ito scored the third goal in the 70th minute, while Ueda sealed his personal double and the final score with a header late in the match.

Japan is now aiming for qualification in the final match against Sweden.
