Crystal Palace's centre-back, Joakim Andersen, has been the target of severe abuse on the internet, following the draw at Anfield Road on Monday evening.

He was the man who angered Liverpool's £100m striker Darvin Nunez, causing the latter to retaliate and be sent off after headbutting Andersen.

However, this episode has not been happy at all for Anderson, who through a post on social networks emphasizes: "I received over 400 life-threatening messages last night.

I understand you support a team, but have some respect and don't be harsh online."

Then the 26-year-old from Kristal Palas shared the other messages he received, in which he was described as a "shame" and a "fraud", while the predominant ones were "the hope that his plane would crash", or his family was dying.

In a recent post, Andersen called on Instagram and the Premier League to take action against these threats. "Sportsmail" has learned that Kristal Palas will inform the police for the purpose of criminal prosecution.
