The auction for the sale ends, the fate of Tirana is known

The first auction for 66% of Tirana's shares has ended and no one appeared interested in taking ownership of the club.

In 2019, Tirana lost the trial with the creditor Abedin Treza, and the latter's family members put up for sale the shares of the club, owned by Refik Halil.

Their price was around 1.6 million euros and since no one interested appeared, the next auction will be at a 30% cheaper price.

If there is still no buyer, 66% of the shares will be transferred to the name of the creditor, while the rest, 34%, will continue to be owned by the Municipality of Tirana.
