A well-known name referees in Tirana, the referee of Albania-England is revealed

Albania has begun preparations for the final World Cup qualifier against England, following the important victory against Andorra that secured second place and a historic qualification to the play-offs.

The team held a recovery session in Andorra before departing for Tirana. The starters worked out in the gym, while the other players trained on the field under the guidance of the technical staff. On Saturday, the National Team will hold the official session at “Air Albania”.

The match against England will be refereed by Marco Guida, with assistants Giorgio Peretti and Alessio Berti, while the fourth official will be Simone Sozza. Marco Di Bello has been appointed as VAR.

Albania closes the group stage with 14 points, four more than Serbia, securing passage to the World Cup play-off stage for the first time.
