Moves begin in Italy, Sarri leaves Lazio. Moves to another Serie A team

Maurizio Sarri will leave Lazio, even though his contract with the white and blue club continues for two more seasons.

After the 2-1 victory over Pisa at the Olimpico Stadium, the Italian coach publicly confirmed his dissatisfaction with the club and stated that he had not been heard from by the management during the season.

Sarri is already expecting a meeting with president Claudio Lotito to find the economic agreement that will bring about the closure of the collaboration.

The Italian coach wants to leave immediately to start a new adventure with Atalanta, a club with which he is expected to sign a three-year contract.

In Bergamo, Sarri will take the place of Raffaele Palladino, who leaves after his period on the black and blue bench.

Atalanta are also preparing to bring in Cristiano Giuntoli as sporting director. Giuntoli previously worked with Sarri at Napoli and is expected to play a key role in the new project at the Bergamo club.
