France's match risks postponement, reason revealed

The World Cup match between France and Iraq is at risk of being postponed for several hours due to severe weather conditions expected to affect the area where the stadium is located.

According to the latest meteorological forecasts, the region will be hit by severe storms, strong winds, heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and there is a risk of isolated tornadoes.

The storms are expected to last from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM, directly impacting the scheduled meeting time, which is 11:00 PM.

To ensure maximum safety for players and fans, match officials are considering the option of postponing the start of the match to 02:00, pending the lightning activity to move away from the stadium perimeter.
