An unheard of situation in the history of football happened today in a friendly between high-level teams. The Polish champions, who defeated Legia Warsaw's rivals Rakow, faced Slavia Prague.

In the 10th minute of the match, the referee argued with Rakow's midfielder, Papanikolaou. The latter offended the leader of the meeting, while the red card did not take long. At this moment, the big debate started.

The referee went to argue with the staffs of both teams. They asked for Papanikolaou to return to the field and have this punishment forgiven, so that they could best practice their schemes as a friendly match, where the teams were strictly required to play 11 against 11.

At one point the referee set a condition: "Either Papanikolaou or me". After the teams' staffs insisted, the referee felt offended and called his assistants to go to the dressing room and not to come back, leaving the game in the middle.

In such a situation, the role of the referee was played by Rakoë's coach, Kamil Waskoëski, while his two assistants were members of Slavia Prague. One of the footballers who played as a winger in the first half, in the second half left his "second job" and entered the field as a player.
