Milan and Inter succeed, UEFA fines Italian club. Chelsea and Barcelona in trouble

UEFA has made public the first decisions of the financial control chamber for the 2024-2025 season, regarding compliance with Financial Fair Play rules.

Roma has been fined 3 million euros for exceeding the minimum financial target for the completed fiscal year.

The Italian club is one of 10 clubs operating under a settlement agreement with UEFA. Meanwhile, Chelsea must cover a deficit of €80m by 2029, while Barcelona have €60m to recoup.

 Lyon, in addition to a debt of 50 million euros, also risks exclusion from European competitions in the 2025-26 season.

Aston Villa and Hajduk are also on the list of clubs with similar sanctions. Milan, Inter, PSG, Monaco and several other clubs have met financial targets for 2024.
